Kike Ferrari was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. His novels, short stories, chronicles and essays have been translated into seven languages and received awards in Argentina, Cuba, Spain, France and Mexico. Que de lejos parecen moscas won a prize at Semana Negra de Gijón and inspired the film Moscas, directed by Aritz Moreno. The documentary El metrodelegado, el piletero y el cadáver examines his life and work. His novel Si estás leyendo esto received the 2025 Municipal Literature Prize.
